Horizont trail


A wonderful day’s outing from the Alpen Tower to Engstlenalp with breathtaking views and lovely alpine flowers along the way. The trail takes you over the Balmergghorn to Tannensee, across the meadows of Tannalp to Engstlenalp.

Sunny Trail


Just right for sporty families and nature lovers. The newly constructed trail starts at Alpen Tower and goes via Hääggen to Käserstatt.

Gibel Trail


An enjoyable hike takes you from Käserstatt to the top of the Gibel where you will have a wonderful panoramic view over the lakes of Brienz and Lungern. The trail takes you back to the mid station at Lischen via Balisalp.

Murmeliweg


The Murmeliweg is a wonderful hike suitable. The trail starts at Käserstatt and ends at Mägisalp and you will be accompanied by majestic mountain views along the way.

Hochstollen


The hike to Hochstollen will impress any mountain hiker. The trail starts at Käserstatt and goes up fairly steeply to Hochsträss then the last narrow section of the trail takes you up to the peak at Hochstollen. From there you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Bernese Oberland and central Switzerland.

The cable car company Meiringen-Hasliberg operates a summer and winter sports resort in the Bernese Oberland, ranging from 600 up to 2500 m asl.
